Beaches & walking routes
A walking route through the centre of Pula, starting from a car park near the Amphitheatre (Arena). It passes Pizzeria Jupiter — very good, with nice fish and grill too — but you can eat anywhere along the way. Always check prices and Google reviews. (The “Karolina” car park is pricey, but in peak summer it’s usually hard to find parking elsewhere in the city.)
Valsaline BeachThe beach nearest to the apartment.
Verudela Walking RouteA walk (1.2 km) or short drive to the nearby resort with many lovely beaches — park at “Verudela Parking”. The “Zeppelin” lounge bar is a nice spot for a drink.

Central Istria
We’d suggest a trip taking in Motovun and Grožnjan — two beautiful hill towns. On the way between them, stop at Konoba Oprtalj.
Rovinj
Rovinj is a beautiful seaside town — great for a walk, and great for food.
